EARN ADDITIONAL REVENUE BEING A COMMUNITY SOLAR SITE HOST

We are looking for suitable rooftops for rooftop solar leases.  As a community solar host site, the owner or organization would receive a number of benefits.

THERE IS NO COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER FOR A FREE SOLAR ASSESSMENT OR INSTALLATION.

BENEFITS: 

• Community Media Kit

Solar Hosts receive a complete media package with draft press release, social media content, local newspaper publishing credits for project updates and other customized content designed to publicize and inform the community about the impact and positive benefits from your solar installation project.

• Lease Revenue

Solar hosts receive revenue paid quarterly to the controlling organization in exchange for suitable rooftop space to locate community solar energy panels.

• Lowered Electric Costs 

Under NY project rules, the building may use up to 40% of the energy generated for its own use to offset the building’s energy costs. 

• Lower Property Tax Bill

Under NY rules,  up to 20% of the project construction cost may be used as a credit against the’ property tax bill (up to $62,500).
